Are you going to Heaven?

Before you go any further and browse through this site we would like to first have you answering the above question. Are you going to heaven? If you are absolutely sure that you are then think about what you base such assurance on. I hope that you are not going to mention any works or merit that you have done in order to gain everlasting life. I tell you that any work that you add to your assurance is eventually going to be your list of why you are going to hell. We would not want you to be able to browse through our website without you having first been presented with the simple gospel of salvation.

The Bible states:

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; 9 and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph 2:8-9)

But what must you put your faith in?

The Gospel (which means good news)!

What is the Gospel?

The Apostle Paul under inspiration of the Holy Spirit writes:

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: ( I Cor 15:3-4)

Why is this good news?

The Bible teaches:

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Cor 5:10)

We all must appear before Christ to be judged by Him. But you see you have a problem. That problem is called sin. Your sin is condemning you to hell.

For the wages of sin is death; (Rom 6:23)

and

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (Rom 1:18)

also

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: (Col 3:5-6)

This is bad news!

Yes it is. But before you can understand the good news you must have first heard the bad news.

But the Good news is that the sentence: “ For the wages of sin is death;” does not stop right there. It continues to say:

“but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.“

But also,

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (Rom 5:9)

and Paul speaks to people who trust in Jesus,

10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. (I Thes 1:10)

and last but not least

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (Rom 5:15-19)

You see through Jesus Christ God can now give you the gift of eternal life.

All you must do is believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins on cross, that His blood was spilled and that He rose again for your justification (Rom 4:24; 5:9) so that you don’t get the wrath you deserve but so you receive the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus.

Trust that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was resurrected for you justification unto eternal life and you are saved from His wrath.
